The Dinner

April 15, 1939. Two weeks after the end of the Spanish Civil War, Franco proposes celebrating the victory with a dinner at the Palace Hotel with all his generals. What they don't know is that dinner will be prepared by Republican cooks who see this as their last chance to flee the country. A young lieutenant, a meticulous maître d', and a group of expert prisoner cooks must prepare an impeccable banquet in record time, but in the kitchen, more than a menu is being plotted: the escape is served.
