I Won’t Die for Love
12ADirector: Marta Matute
Starring: Tomas del Estal, Fran Cantos, Marc Domingo, Júlia Mascort, Lorea Intxausti
At just 18, Claudia refuses to play the hero in her family’s story. When her mother’s Alzheimer’s slips quietly into their lives, it turns the household upside down, forcing her to grow up faster than she ever wanted. Caught between caring for her mother and chasing her own youth — nights out, first loves, dreams of the future — Claudia must find her own way to love and let go, in a coming-of-age tale about memory, loss, and the courage to choose herself.
It is crafted with precision, with every single step measured so as not to give us any satisfaction until well into the footage." Laura Pérez, Fotogramas
