The Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival will be screening the 2017 Spanish thriller Mist and the Maiden, and we are delighted to invite colleagues and students to an informal discussion and Q&A with the best-selling writer Lorenzo Silva (author of the novel La niebla y la doncella, which inspired the film adaptation). Professor Alexis Grohmann and Dr. José Saval will be chairing this discussion into the nuances and complexities of adapting the thriller genre from novel to film.
The event will also include the opportunity to enjoy some authentic Spanish cuisine!
