David Imaz had to flee the Basque Country in the mid-seventies, repudiated by his own, accused of treason. Despite finding happiness in California, his past continues to weigh on him and the feeling of guilt does not allow him to face his last days of life with serenity. Joseba Altuna, his childhood friend, goes to say goodbye to him and incidentally, to settle pending accounts. They have spent a long time without seeing each other, but the time has come to face the truth.
