
As Peru spirals into political unrest in 1992, sisters Lucia and Aurora are about to migrate to the United States with their mum Elena in hopes of finding a better life. However, in order to leave the country they need signed permits from their father Carlos. After being absent for most of their childhood, Carlos now decides to win over the affection of his two "queens" and convince them to stay with him in Lima.
