For three years, Felipe Ugarte explored the meaning, preparation and history of some of the culinary formulae at Mugaritz, voted the sixth best restaurant in the world. His goal was to perform these themes and ideas through the language of music. The creative process involved in creating and composing this original work led to the production of this documentary. It charts the complete evolution of the project; from the preparation of the dishes themselves, the journeys to Ethiopia and Peru in search of melodies, to the studio recordings of the soundtrack.
The principal aim of this documentary is to show how ideas develop and how culinary creations were transformed into a musical score.
