Based on the real life of Maixabel Lasa, the widow of Juan María Jauregui, a socialist politician murdered by the terrorist organization ETA in the year 2000. Eleven years later, while still serving sentence in prison, one of the terrorists requests an interview with her after having cut ties with ETA. Despite her distrust and grief, Maixabel agrees as she hopes to find a genuine sense of justice and reconciliation.
