Where is the thin line that separates friendship from desire? Axun, a 70-year-old woman, is in a hospital taking care of her daughter's ex-husband, who was seriously injured in a car accident. To her surprise, the woman who takes care of the other patient in the same room turns out to be Maite, her best friend when they were teenagers and who is now openly lesbian. They have not seen each other for more than 50 years but that close relationship seems to be still alive.

Reviews
"One of the most unbelievable films in recent Spanish cinema.... Excellent acting by Aizpuru and Pagoaga." (Javier Ocaña: Diario El País)
"'80 Days' shines in the scenes between Asun and Maite...for their freshness, their spontaneity, and their capacity to express tightly controlled emotions." (Desirée de Fez: Fotogramas)
