At ESFF, we are committed to making our events welcoming and accessible to everyone.
Here are some of the measures we have in place:
- BSL Interpretation: Selected screenings include British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation for film introductions and Q&As. Please check our programme for details.
- Subtitles: All films have English subtitles. Additionally, some screenings—usually part of ESFF on Tour—feature Descriptive Subtitles for d/Deaf and hard-of-hearing audiences.
- Free Ticket Options: Complimentary tickets are available for companions providing essential assistance.
- Concession Tickets: Reduced-price tickets are offered to students and those aged over 60.
- Accessible Venues: We partner with venues that have step-free access, accessible toilets, and facilities designed for all guests.
- Reserved Seating: Available for anyone who needs it—please let us know in advance or on arrival.
If you require any assistance or have questions about accessibility, don’t hesitate to get in touch with a member of our team—we’re here to help.
What’s new this year?
- At screenings without BSL interpretation, printed copies of the introduction text are available at the entrance.
- During Q&As, audience members can submit questions via social media, allowing those who prefer to remain anonymous to participate.
