Lima during the 1980s. Georgina, a young pregnant woman of limited means, goes to a clinic that promises free medical care. After giving birth, Georgina's baby and the clinic disappear. Faced with the impassivity of the authorities, the young mother goes to the office of a local newspaper where young, gay journalist Pedro promises to investigate her case.
